IT'S LAURA AND MORGAN
A digital home for The Cycle Book.
Laura and Morgan are a certified sex therapist and a midwife dedicated to helping women better
understand their bodies through accessible and empowering education. The website was designed
to support the launch of The Cycle Book - an interactive step-by-stepguide to tracking hormones
and understanding the menstrual cycle.
WHAT ARE WE MAKING?
Laura & Morgan already had the main character: The Cycle Book.
The website needed to give it a home - somewhere to introduce
the book, explain what it’s all about, and make it easy for people
to discover the work behind it. The goal was simple: keep the book
at the centre, while making everything around it feel colourful,
approachable and very Laura & Morgan.
COLOUR PALETTE
The colour palette was intentionally vibrant and energetic to move away from
the cold, clinical aesthetic often associated with healthcare and educational
websites. The warm oranges and yellows create feelings of comfort, openness,
and optimism, while the bright blue adds clarity, balance, and trust. Together,
the palette helps transform learning about hormones and the body into a more
welcoming and engaging experience.
VIDEO EDITING
Alongside the website, I also worked with Laura & Morgan on their video
content, helping bring their ideas to life beyond the screen. From longer-
form storytelling to quick, engaging social content - the focus was on
creating edits that felt clear, natural and true to their personality, while
adapting the pace and format for different platforms.
