The starting point was simple: take a piece of music and give it a visual identity.

I chose Invocation by Hugh Le Caine, a piece that shifts between fragility, tension,

movement and moments of unexpected calm. Instead of trying to literally

illustrate what I could hear, I started thinking about something else:
